INGREDIENTS:
- Dried active yeast - 1 tsp
 - Sugar - 1/2 tsp
 - Warm water - 1/2 cup
 - All purpose Flour - 1 cup plus more for kneading
 - Salt - 1/2 tsp
 - Vegetable oil - 1/4 cup
 - Butter - 2 tsp
 - Baking Powder - 1/2tsp
 - Yogurt - 3 tsp
 - Garlic-5 cloves chopped fine( or more as desired)
 
METHOD:
- In a cup combine yeast and sugar, add water and kee p it aside for 5 minutes or until its foamy.
 - Saute the garlic in 1tsp oil.
 - Combine salt and flour in a large bowl and make a well in the middle.
 - Pour yeast mixture, oil,garlic and stir well with a spoon.
 - After that start kneading the mixture with your fingers till a soft dough is formed. If needed put more flour. Knead for a few minutes.
 - Oil a bowl and keep the dough in it covered with a wet cloth.
 - Let the dough rise to double its size. It will take about 1 hour.
 - Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and make it in the shape of balls.
 - Spread it in oval shape.
 - Heat tawa. Brush one side of naan with butter and heat that side . Mean while brush the other side with butter. Repeat this till the sides are brown.
 - Repeat this with the remaining 5 dough balls.
Serve with curry
